An English DinnerKrimi with sporadic deaths

Every ten years, eccentric and patriotic Lord Reginald Bromstroke, retired Admiral of His Majesty’s Royal Navy, invites Sussex VIPs to celebrate the victory of the Battle of Trafalgar, in which his ancestor fought alongside Lord Admiral Nelson. This year‘s Royal Navy Dinner, to which Lord Bromstroke has invited you, is also being held in  remembrance of his late wife, who fell overboard in a storm ten years ago.

In light of these special circumstances he has promised family and guests that there will be an extraordinary surprise… but a murder is committed before he is able to announce it. Hunting down the murderer takes first priority, particularly since every guest seems to be somehow entangled in the mystery. The dinner party guests are in dire straits when famous French detective Achille Pernod enters the crime scene. He discovers sinister connections and possible motives, but he desperately needs your help to solve the case.
